 Back on the Eurostar. After leaving a freezing Brussels station, the sun made an appearance through clouds. 

From my window seat, as always, I snapped some excellent clouds as we hurtled through Wallonia at 300km p/hour -



and this farmhouse somewhere around Tubize -



At St Pancras Tracey Emin's pink neon I want my time with you was the familiar welcome below the Dent clock. 



It feels to me that I have spent as much time at St Pancras station over the last 14 or so years as I have in any of the places that have been my various homes in this time. 

I know it like the back (palm?) of my hand. 

It's not that I have either a particular love or dislike for it, rather just a deep, intimate familiarity. 

St Pancras station has been the backdrop to a whole gamut of life situations and experiences over these years, from drudgery to misery and despair to pleasure, hope, adventure and possibility. 

Here we are again.
