 A treat today was a birthday lunch outing to Zedelgem near Bruges. 

This was perhaps my fourth time here over the last several years. Part of the pleasure of the place is the setting, opening onto a large garden, but also its consistency -

Always the simple blue and white, with huge pots of flowers -

It's always a joy when the quality of the food is as good as the aesthetics.
