 The mighty oak tree is my most loved thing in all of the garden. 

I tried (and failed) to capture the sheer height and size of it from below -

And for scale: Oak v garden 

it simply towers above everything around it -

The solidity of that trunk -

When I lie in the dark of the subterranean bedroom at night, I picture its great roots that spread through the earth not far away and above me, and hope the image will work its way into my dreams.
