This morning after breakfast we found a Sunday marché in full swing along the main street of Cotignac

This couple were struggling to put up umbrellas outside their shop -

and the cafés were in full swing for breakfast -

There was one last moment for appreciation of the sights and colours of Provence before our 4-5 hour drive back north.

Here passing through Lyon on the banks of the Rhône -

back to the Bourgogne - for a night in Tournus, where we ate on the terrace of Les Sept Fontaines, surrounded by Flemish people (many with their dogs) making a stopover to or from the south.

For my entrée I had something quaintly called Comme une Lyonnaise en Bourgogne, which turned out to be a salad with thin slices of local saucisse and a Franche-Comté cheese -

We had a filet of truite as our plat and yet another good bottle - this time a Bourgogne Côte d'Or chardonnay. Truly every wine on this trip has been exceptionally good.
