 Walking to the doctors' surgery to get my winter flu jab, the weather was unseasonably warm. Here the swimming pool at the bottom of Parkers' Piece with bright sunshine and tree reflections in the glass -

And here the bell-tower of Our Lady of the Assumption & the English Martyrs - the only part of the exterior structure to have been cleaned, it stands out startlingly in its restored beauty while the rest of the church is blackened by weathering of over a hundred years -
