 The solar eclipse happened this evening. Being amongst very tall trees, all I have to show is a nice arty selfie taken about 10 minutes before it started, as I walked up the dreef to find a spot where the sun was visible between trees -

And this from the front door, also just before -

It was eerie to see the same dreef shortly afterwards, when at its peak, in untimely dusk and deep shadow -

And to see for once half the world gathering in groups huge and small to watch - for a couple of hours just humans on earth in wonderment of the sun and moon.
